Sep. 14, 2009 (PR Newswire) --
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq: ISYS) today announced that SAT Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, has been chosen to provide its Monics(R) system to Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) for satellite monitoring, interference detection, and satellite operator planning capability.
Monics is a state of the art monitoring system providing automatic monitoring of SingTel's carriers using SAT Corporation's Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. Monics technology provides carrier monitoring and interference detection in a fraction of the time of a classic spectrum analyzer. In addition, Monics' unique algorithms automatically detect, characterize, and display interfering signals, and allow results to be viewed at any time. The Monics system will be installed at SingTel's Seletar Satellite Earth Station and can be expanded to multiple remote monitoring sites to monitor and detect interference and/or unauthorized users of the company's system payloads.
"We are pleased SingTel has selected SAT Corporation to support its carrier monitoring and operator planning requirements," said Bob Potter, President of SAT Corporation. "Our strong position in the industry allows us to support SingTel and our other customers with enhanced operational efficiency."
