Franklin was most recently Chief of Strategy for Content and Media at Amdocs and is currently on the board at Ontela, a Seattle-based provider of photo management services for the mobile industry. He joined Amdocs in 2006 with their $300 million acquisition of Qpass, where he was a co-founder and CEO. At Qpass, Chase engineered the corporate restructuring and strategy change that led to the company's rapid growth and extremely successful acquisition by Amdocs.

Prior to founding Qpass in 1997, Franklin spent more than a decade at Microsoft Corporation in key product development and strategic management positions in Microsoft Office, and with Microsoft's interactive television and MSN properties. He created and led the team that partnered with Walmart to develop the predecessor of the Microsoft Commerce Server product. He holds three patents relating to the design of Microsoft and Qpass technologies and business processes.
