CDC Software expects to reap 50 mln USD annual revenue in China

BEIJING, Sep. 22, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- CDC Software (NASDAQ:CDCS) Corporation (CDCS.NASDAQ) will attach more importance to the market in China and is expected to reap 50 million US dollars of annual revenue in the next three years, said the company's President Yu Xiang on Monday.

Yu told Xinhua that the company's annual sales would hit 300 million dollars in the next three years, including those from China, which should increase to 50 million dollars, making China its second largest market.

Yu added that the company would achieve the target through growth and acquisition.

Specifically, the company would continue to focus on the business of enterprise management solutions and move the service sector to China to develop the huge market potential.

At the same time, the company would acquire some companies in China.CDC Software has already acquired two companies since its debut on NASDAQ in April and Yu noted that the company would make full use of the funds raised on the stock market for expansion.

The company is still in talks on other acquisitions.CDC Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDC Corporation (NASDAQ:CHINA) (CHINA.NASDAQ), focuses on enterprise software applications and services. The company was listed on NASDAQ on April 6, raising 57.6 million dollars for the business.

The company reported 101 million dollars of revenue for the first half of 2009, and a net profit of 99 million dollars.
