Evergreen Solar, Inc. (NasdaqGM: ESLR), a manufacturer of String Ribbon

technology, today announced that it has appointed Henry Ng to the
position of General Manager -- Asian Operations. Prior to joining
Evergreen Solar, Mr. Ng was General Manager of the Suntech Power Holding
Co., Ltd. factory in Wuxi, a position he held since July 2007. During
the previous 25 years, he held various Asian-based senior leadership
positions, principally at Sony.
