BEIJING, Sep. 24, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASIA) (ASIA.NASDAQ) announced Wednesday that it will upgrade the Business Intelligence systems to Next Generation Business Analysis Support Systems (NG-BASS) for branches of China Mobile (0941.HK; CHL.NYSE) in Chongqing municipality, and Hubei, Jilin and Qinghai provinces.

The BI system is constructed to meet China Mobile's demands for data collection and analysis capabilities. The NG-BASS is capable of supporting expanded data storage capacity, managing data internally, and helping the carrier to work out more targeted marketing programs effectively.
