BEIJING, Sep. 25, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- Baidu.Com Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU) (BIDU.NASDAQ) has struck alliance with nearly 20 brands to develop Business to Customer (B2C) business in five major traditional enterprises, according to reports with Tech.QQ.com earlier Friday.
The report says that its partners include both local and overseas brands such as Suning, Haier, Li-Ning, Baodao Glasses, Yaofang.com, ifeng.com, New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE:EDU) (EDU.NASDAQ), as well as South Korea's Samsung, Japan's Nissen, and France's L'Oreal.
Baidu will provide tailored marketing solutions on brand search for these corps, the report shows.
Previously in mid-August, Baidu announced entry into B2C market via extending its e-commerce platform, Baidu YouA. Li Yinan, CTO of the company noted then that in the future five years, e-commerce would be a development priority target for Baidu. Chinese language search engine
