Sep. 25, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Hanna Moukanas, a senior partner of Oliver Wyman based in Paris, has been named global leader of the firm’s Delta organizational consulting business, effective October 1. Mr. Moukanas will become a member of the Oliver Wyman Group Management Committee. Delta consults to CEOs and senior-level executives on the design and leadership of large-scale organizational change. David Bliss, the current leader of the Delta business, will return to full-time consulting following the leadership transition.
Mr. Moukanas joined Oliver Wyman in 1995 through the acquisition of MID, a Paris-based strategy consulting boutique that he co-founded. At Oliver Wyman, he has held leadership roles in both North America and Europe. While based in Boston, he was global leader of the Strategy consulting practice; in Paris, he led the global Business-to-Business industry sector and also served as head of France for several years. In taking on the leadership role for Delta, Mr. Moukanas will now lead Oliver Wyman’s efforts to expand its global business in the areas of organizational design and transformation, leadership effectiveness, and corporate governance.
Mr. Moukanas has extensive experience with Delta over the past decade. He was part of the team that evaluated the firm as an acquisition for MMC ten years ago; he subsequently served on Delta’s Board of Directors and actively assisted in its integration. More recently, Mr. Moukanas has worked together with Delta partners on several major client engagements at the CEO level involving large-scale change and organizational transformation.
