Sep. 28, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATNI) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, payable on October 15, 2009, on all common shares outstanding to stockholders of record as of October 5, 2009. This represents an increase of two cents, or 11%, in the dividend paid from the previous quarter. If maintained, this equates to an annual increase of eight cents, from $0.72 per share to $0.80 per share.

Prior, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said, "This is our eleventh consecutive annual increase in our dividend and, considering the very poor macro-economic conditions of the past year, we think this is a nice validation of our long-term approach to our operations and our balance sheet.”
