Three new hires to increase penetration of enterprise cloud storage offerings throughout U.S.

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Nirvanix®, the premier enterprise cloud storage service provider, today announced the addition of three new solution sales executives to target the key vertical markets of financial services, life sciences and media and entertainment throughout the United States. The new additions will be responsible for driving increased adoption of the company's Storage Delivery Network(TM) (SDN), a fully-managed, highly secure cloud storage service developed for today's enterprises.

West Coast representation is expanded with Cheryl Parker, who comes to Nirvanix from EMC Corporation, where she served as a Global Account Manager responsible for managing the software development and deployment of a global solution delivery team for an industry-leading digital solution framework. She also has previous sales and management experience at organizations including IBM Global Services, Orbital Data, Sun Microsystems, Avid Technology, Microsoft and Digital Equipment Corporation. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Russell Sage College.
Joseph Tonello will represent the Midwest sales area. A senior sales executive with a track record of maximizing growth in varied high-tech markets, Tonello has had successful stints at IBM, EMC Corporation, Computer Associates and Compuware Corporation, winning top-tier contracts with numerous Fortune 500 accounts. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Miami University in Ohio.
Based out of the Boston area, Stephen Zaimes will represent Nirvanix on the East Coast. With more than 16 years of exceeding sales goals in high technology solutions, Zaimes has proven success stimulating new business growth and increasing revenues at various companies, including Exsos LLC, McData/CNT, Three-Five Systems, MicroTouch Systems and Xerox. He earned a bachelor of science degree at Syracuse University.
