SUGAR LAND, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/09 -- Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Another oil company seems to be warming up to the fuel ethanol idea as worldwide oil producer Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE:MUR) (El Dorado, Arkansas) has acquired the assets of the idled VeraSun Energy ethanol plant located in Hankinson, North Dakota. The company will have a domestic production capacity of 110 million gallons per year of ethanol to accompany 158,250 barrels per day of crude oil production from refiners located in Meraux, Louisiana, and Superior, Wisconsin.
