Oct. 5, 2009 (Business Wire) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) announced that it was recently awarded the recompete for the Reliability Engineering Support Services contract from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The competitively awarded prime contract, received in the third quarter, is valued at $23.3 million with a three-year base and two option years.
Services provided by ManTech under the contract include circuit and systems reliability; modeling, simulation and analysis; dynamics; thermal and structural analysis; natural space environments; electromagnetic compatibility; problem failure reporting; probabilistic risk assessment; and product and quality assurance for the flight projects at JPL.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory is the lead U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system, and conducts major programs in space-based Earth sciences and astronomy. JPL spacecraft have visited all of the planets from Mercury to Neptune.
ManTech has successfully supported many NASA programs including the Hubble Space Telescope, for which the company received the NASA George M. Low Award and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Contractor Excellence Award.
