Alternative Fuel Technologies (PINKSHEETS: AFTC) announced yesterday
that they were informed by the Korean Institute of Energy Research
(KIER) that their DME technology would be used in a research and
development program slated for June 2010.
The KIER's Government sponsored research includes exploring new and
renewable energy resources. During the 1970s and 1980s growth surge
in Korea, little was done to protect and preserve the environment.
Recent efforts by the KIER as well as Korea's $84 billion dollar Green
Growth project has paved the way for companies like Alternative Fuel
Technologies to help the country of Korea reduce emissions on
vehicles.
