According to Alcatel-Lucent, the MiFi Intelligent Mobile Hotspot is a mobile broadband device that creates a personal cloud of high-speed internet connectivity that can be shared between multiple users and Wi-Fi devices.

Porting the OmniAccess 3500 Nonstop Laptop Guardian (NLG) solution to Novatel Wireless MiFi 2352 and 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, extends the market reach of the solution by providing a USB interface and worldwide carrier availability, while decreasing the cost of entry for customers seeking a worldwide, always-on mobile security solution. The combined offer makes the Alcatel-Lucent NLG the first enterprise application available on the MiFi device, said Alcatel-Lucent.
