Oct. 8--Tim Gunn, "Project Runway" cohost and chief creative officer for Liz Claiborne Inc., is coming to town, and if you buy enough, you can have your picture taken with him.

Gunn, with his wry personality and impeccable sense of style, will be at Somerset Collection North at 1 p.m. Oct. 17 to host a fashion show.

Featured in the show: clothing and accessories from Liz Claiborne Inc.'s lineup of brands, including Lucky Brand Jeans, Kate Spade New York, Juicy Couture and DKNY Jeans.

Gunn's goal? To help us make it work by showing how to take our looks from day to evening, or work to play and how to mix and match new pieces with stuff at home in the closet.

The show, which will take place in the mall's Grand Court, is free. There is seating for about 350 guests and standing room, too. Reservations are required. For info or to make a reservation: 248-643-6360.

As a big bonus, anyone who makes a purchase of $100 or more from one of the participating brands at a Somerset store from Saturday to Oct. 17 will receive a limited-edition, holiday greeting card set featuring Gunn. (Of course, this offer is good only while supplies last.) They'll also get to attend a private reception following the show, where they can get their picture taken with Gunn. Just make sure you have your receipt to prove your purchase.
