Law Offices of Howard G. Smith announces that a securities class action
lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all persons or entities who
purchased the common stock of RHI Entertainment, Inc. ("RHI
Entertainment" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:RHIE) pursuant and/or traceable
to the Company's Initial Public Offering on or about June 19, 2008 (the
"IPO"). The class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District
Court for the Southern District of New York.
The Complaint alleges that the defendants violated federal securities
laws by, among other things, issuing a materially false and misleading
Registration Statement and Prospectus (collectively, the "Registration
Statement") which failed to disclose material adverse information
concerning RHI Entertainment's business, prospects and financial
condition, thereby artificially inflating the price of the Company's
securities.
No class has yet been certified in the above action. Until a class is
certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. If
you purchased RHI Entertainment, Inc. common stock pursuant and/or
traceable to the Company's June 19, 2008, IPO, you have certain rights,
and have 60 days from the date of this Notice to move for Lead Plaintiff
status. To be a member of the class you need not take any action at this
time, and you may retain counsel of your choice. If you wish to discuss
this action or have any questions concerning this Notice or your rights
or interests with respect to these matters, please contact Howard G.
