Oct. 12--APC by Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, announced Thursday that it has appointed Philippe Reveilhac as its new country general manager for the Philippines to lead the local team to drive growth for the company in the country. With more than 15 years of Information Technology industry experience, Reveilhac would also be responsible to further strengthen the company's position as a trusted advisor to businesses looking for innovative and energy efficient solutions for their data centers, server rooms and even wiring closets.

Noting that the Philippines is no longer a new market for APC, Reveilhac said the company would be focusing more on turnkey solutions for data centers. Besides providing energy efficiency, he also assured the company's customers that they would also continue to maintain its leadership on core products covering consumers, retail and residential.

"For the Philippines, we will continue working with our distributors, which we also have been supporting for years," the new country general manager said. "We will also improve the efficiency of the existing solutions."

"APC is in a strong position to deliver innovative solutions that will not only help these businesses make the most of their energy consumption, but save on their operating costs as well," he added.

Prior to his appointment as the new country general manager, Reveilhac was the vice president of Central Europe for APC where he managed the merger and integration of APC and MGE entities.

Meanwhile, following the recent onslaught of twin Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng in the country, Reveilhac said they are now currently working with their customers and partners affected by the calamity to ensure the immediate return of regular business operations in their respective areas.

"Immediately our reaction was to make a diagnostic of the damage and offering immediate solutions," he said. "During the typhoon, we are in direct contact with them. We have been very close with our partners and customers . . . and we want to keep them for the future also. "

APC by Schneider Electric provides energy efficient solutions for critical technology and industrial applications. APC solutions being offered in the market include uninterruptible power supplies, precision cooling units, racks, physical security and design and management software, among others.
