NEW YORK - The following stocks were among those that moved substantially or traded heavily Monday on the New York Stock Exchange:

NYSE:

Black & Decker Corp., up $3.58 at $50.82

The power tool maker boosted its third-quarter profit outlook on its operating margin and a lower tax rate.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc., up 26 cents at $6.14

A UBS analyst upgraded the stock to "Buy" and raised his target price and earnings estimates due to expectations for increased growth.

KB Home, down $1.29 at $15.17

The company said the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating it for possible accounting and disclosure violations.

Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc., up 91 cents at $5.81

An analyst upgraded the toy retailers shares to the highest rating, saying he thinks better-than-expected sales will boost shares.

NASDAQ:

Lam Research Corp., up $1.72 at $37.91

An analyst gave the semiconductor equipment maker a short-term "Buy" rating, citing a recent $135 million equipment order.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals Inc., up $1.36 at $28.26

The company will buy cancer drug developer Proteolix Inc. in a deal that could be worth as much as $851 million.

Sinoenergy Corp., up 55 cents at $1.83

The Chinese manufacturer of compressed natural gas vehicle and station equipment said it will be taken private in a merger.

Digital River Inc., down $13.97 at $26.45

Symantec Corp. has decided not to renew its outsourcing contract with the technology and services company when it ends next year.
