Touchscreen Displays Provide Private, Enhanced Experience
Oct. 13, 2009 (Business Wire) -- For TV Keyboards, consumers want touchscreen controllers with a virtual keyboard, which also incorporate physical keys for common TV functions, as shown in the recent Strategy Analytics Digital Home Observatory report, “Touchscreen Controllers Set to Drive the Connected TV Experience,” which evaluates connected TV remote controls from Logitech, Hillcrest Labs, and Apple.
However, Strategy Analytics’ consumer evaluations found that most consumers are not yet ready to integrate their connected TV controller with other digital services. Based on this research, Strategy Analytics has identified five success factors for developers to provide the best user experience for a combined web/TV controller.
