Ecolab Inc. announced today that it has acquired the ISS pest
elimination business in the UK. Sales of the acquired business are
currently £4 million (approximately $6 million). The business operations
and staff will be integrated with Ecolab's existing UK Pest Elimination
business. No further details were disclosed.
Douglas M. Baker, Jr., Ecolab's Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer commented on the announcement, saying, "This acquisition will
increase our United Kingdom Pest Elimination service capacity, add scale
to our business and strengthen our customer relationships and
