SpringCM announced today that its Government Solutions Division
based in Sterling, VA will hold its second annual Privia Users
Conference on Wednesday, October 28 at the Fairview Park Marriott in
Falls Church, VA. Building on user feedback and the success of the
inaugural conference last year, this year's agenda boasts a
compelling lineup of three renowned keynote speakers and four industry
experts presenting sessions on best practices in government business
development and proposal management. In addition, four leading Federal
Contractors will present case studies detailing how they have
successfully deployed Privia to streamline their business
development, capture and proposal management lifecycles and win more
business as a result.
Larry Allen, President of the Coalition for Government Procurement,
will provide opening remarks on the current trends in government
contracting with insights to help contractors strategize for the
coming year. The luncheon address will be delivered by Kristen
Mistichelli, Acting Director of Acquisitions at the National Cancer
Institute. Ms. Mistichelli will address the economic stimulus funds
spending plans and how contractors can help the agency achieve its
goals. Stan Soloway, President and Chief Executive Officer of the
Professional Services Council will close the conference with his
address on the resourcing challenges faced by the government and
trends in this area.
"Our goal, as the leading provider of automation solutions for
managing the complete Government Contract Lifecycle, is to provide
our customers with insights into the market trends and successful
deployment strategies that will help them enhance their business
development operations and grow their business," said Steve Maier, VP
and GM of SpringCM's Government Solutions Division. "The processes
involved in winning Government business are complex and this forum
allows our customers to delve into the details with industry experts
and their peers in order to improve their organizations' efficiency
and win rates in this key market."
The conference will also feature well-known experts in the areas of
government business development and proposal management such as
Howard Nutt, Executive Director of the BD Institute, Lauren Hammond
from Waypoint LLC and Carl Dickson from captureplanning.com. These
sessions will focus on best practices and how government contractors
cannot only survive, but get a competitive advantage in this highly
competitive marketplace.
Attendees will also hear presentations from users of Privia --
representation includes executives from Scientific Research Corp.,
CACI, Tenacity Solutions, JB&A and Citizant -- who will describe
specific values and business benefits gained from using the solution.
The day will conclude with the Oktoberfest Networking reception -- an
event that was well received by last year's conference attendees and
provide an opportunity for networking with industry peers.
