BEIJING, Oct. 15, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC)(SMI.NYSE; 0981.HK) will extend its 45nm bulk complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technologies to 40 nm and 55 nm geometries.
Applications of these new processes include multimedia products, graphics chips, chipsets, and mobile devices.
