Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. ("Stellar" or the "Corporation") (TSX
VENTURE: SPX) announces that the TSX Venture Exchange (the
"Exchange") has approved the Corporation's share consolidation which
was approved by the shareholders at the Corporation's Annual and
Special Meeting of shareholders held on September 16, 2009.
Effective as of the opening of trading on the Exchange, on Tuesday,
October 20, 2009, the Corporation will commence trading its common
shares on a consolidated basis of one (1) post-consolidated common
share for every two and a half (2.5) pre-consolidated common shares
of Stellar under new CUSIP number 85856T201 and new ISIN number
CA85856T2011.
The Corporation's name will remain the same and the Corporation's
post-consolidated common shares will be trading under the same
trading symbol "SPX".
Following the effective date of the consolidation, the number of
issued and outstanding common shares of the Corporation will go from
62,389,253 to 24,955,701.
A letter of transmittal with respect to the consolidation was mailed
to all registered shareholders of the Corporation in connection with
the annual and special meeting of shareholders held on September 16,
2009. This letter contains a detailed explanation of the procedure to
follow in order to exchange the share certificates of Stellar for new
certificates representing the common share on a post-consolidation
basis.
Stellar invites its shareholders to send their share certificates to
Computershare Investor Services inc. ("Computershare") in order to
receive new certificates representing the corresponding number of
post-consolidated common shares.
In order to facilitate the procedures for its shareholders, Stellar
invites its shareholders to contact Computershare in order to receive
a copy of the transmittal letter prepared in connection with the
exchange of the certificates:
