Weatherford International, a provider of equipment and services to the oil and natural gas industry, has reported a net income of $77.37 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2009, compared to $370.6 million, or $0.53 per diluted share, for the same period of 2008.
The company has reported revenues of $2.15 billion for the third quarter of 2009, compared to $2.54 billion for the same quarter of 2008.
Weatherford has reported a net income of $284.16 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, for the first nine months of 2009, compared to $1 billion, or $1.48 per diluted share, for the corresponding period of 2008.
Year-to-date revenues were $6.4 billion, compared to $6.96 billion for the first nine months of 2008.
