The implementation, completed in early August 2009, will help Mobiltel better understand customers and to translate that understanding into better customer relationship management, product development and business growth.

"M-Tel used to have a Microsoft SQL Server-based data warehouse arranged on data marts. With the increased volume of data and number of users, this solution could no longer support our needs," said Alexander Stock, Director IT Division of Mobiltel. A Teradata customer since 2007, this recent implementation includes an upgrade of the company's existing Active Enterprise Data Warehouse platform to a more powerful system with better throughput and increased disk capacity. These improvements will support use of a new billing system and ability to maintain customer detail records for a full year as well as wider use of the enterprise data warehouse by Mobiltel business users.
