The conference takes place at the Gwinnett Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia on October 27, 2009.
This year's Atlanta I-Day theme is "A New Beginning" and will focus on what has happened in the economy this year and its impact on the insurance industry. Mr. Anderson will speak at the morning educational session. His topic is, "As the Economy Rebuilds, What is the Impact on D&O Insurance," and he will discuss claims trends, insurance coverage topics and other marketplace developments. Jeff Anderson is currently a Vice President at Allied World and leads the Professional Lines (D&O) team in the Southeast, based in Atlanta. He is responsible for underwriting, production and distribution for Public Company Directors & Officers Insurance, Fiduciary Liability Insurance and Employment Practices Liability Insurance. Mr. Anderson has more than 14 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining Allied World, he was Senior Vice President at Willis insurance brokerage in Atlanta. He began his career at St. Paul Companies (now Travelers) in St. Paul, Minnesota and held several management roles in both Minnesota and Atlanta. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Management & Legal Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law, also in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his CPCU designation in 1999.
