THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. NV, an energy-infrastructure construction company, said Monday it has agreed to buy hydrogen-management technology from H2Gen Innovations Inc.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Mars modularized Pressure Swing Adsorption technology is used to recapture hydrogen and noble gases from waste streams in the oil and gas, petrochemicals and metals industries, CB&I said.
H2Gen Innovations is based in Alexandria, Va., and makes hydrogen generators and gas purification plants.
Shares of CB&I slid 18 cents to $20 in midday trading.
