TORONTO, Oct. 27 /CNW/ -- The Dreamcatcher Foundation proudly presents the Aboriginal Innovations Conference October 28 & 29th and the 5th Annual Black Tie Gala October 29, 2009 to being held at the Hamilton Convention Centre. The two day event is one of the most interesting conferences in the Aboriginal community and will include the highly anticipated The Big !dea Contest. Select applicants will be given a chance to make a pitch to a panel of elite investors, including Belinda Stronach Executive Vice Chair of Magna International, Al Mcleod, President and CEO of the Tribal Council Investments Group of Winnipeg, Dave Tuccaro, President of Tuccaro Inc of Fort McMurray, Alberta, W. Brett Wilson, President and founder of Prairie Capital Corporation of Calgary Alberta and Jerry Montour, CEO of Grand River Enterprises, Ohsweken Ontario, present their ideas in front of a live audience and will have an opportunity at financing of up to $250,000 for their program or product geared toward the Aboriginal Marketplace.

Touted as one of the most innovative conferences in the Aboriginal Community, the event will feature high profiled appearances by special guests including International Expert on Development Dr. Ernesto Sirolli, IBM Executive Vice President Pat Horgan and a special appearance by Hockey icon Theo Fleury. However, the real stars of the conference will be the lucky 40 Aboriginal innovators who submitted proposals from all over the country.

The money raised from the conference will help provide grants to children and individuals in the Aboriginal Community, having a long and lasting positive impact on our future leaders.

The Dreamcatcher Foundation is a registered charitable foundation with the mission to address situations unique to the First Nations community. The Foundation will provide support through grants to individuals with a goal of developing youth as future community leaders.
