Stanley Wins $119 Million U.S. Army Contract to Support Integrated Material Management Operations Systems

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stanley, Inc. (NYSE: SXE), a leading provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, today announced that it was awarded a five-year contract valued at $118.7 million, with exercise of options, by the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) for the maintenance and sustainment of their Integrated Material Management Operations Systems program. The award is a recompete of the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) contract.

This contract will assist the U.S. Army Materiel Command, U.S. Army Sustainment Command and Installation Maintenance Divisions sustain Army Preposition Stock and Army Maintenance Management capabilities in support of the Army RESET and Retrograde efforts, and as a part of the Army Force Regeneration process. It will also enable them to maintain tracking and identification of equipment stored and serviced at designated facilities worldwide.

The work will take place in Alexandria, Va., and at more than 50 locations within the continental United States and overseas. Stanley has provided support to the U.S. Army since 1994.
