Washington Roundtable today made the following statement in response to
Boeing's Announcement Regarding the Second 787 Line:
"Washington state faces an important challenge. We need to work even
harder to make the changes necessary to make our state more competitive,
or we will lose more family wage jobs in today's highly competitive
global economy.
We know what the most pressing problems are when it comes to improving
our state's economic climate. All of us -- government, business and labor
-- must join together to retool our economy and create more good jobs. We
are committed to renewing our efforts to make Washington attractive to
employers."
Steve Mullin, President, Washington Roundtable
