The ship will include a water coaster, the AquaDuck, a tubular ride with a section that extends 13-feet beyond the deck of of the ship, 150 feet above the ocean, the Orlando Sentinel reported Friday.

For the 12 percent of the cabins that do not have a natural view, the Disney Dream will have "virtual portholes" that show the outside view others have with an added attraction: Disney characters from "Finding Nemo," or "Mary Poppins" might swim or float by, the newspaper said.

"It isn't a passive experience -- from top to bottom," said director of design and production for Walt Disney (NYSE:DCQ) Imagineering (NYSE:DIS) Greg Dauberger.

The ship will be use for trips from three to five nights to Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay, a private island owned by Disney.

The 4,000-passenger ship will include restaurants with themes from Disney films, and separate clubs for "tweens," teens and adults.

"We think that the family cruise market is one that we have just skimmed the surface of," said Jay Rasulo, chairman of the Walt Disney Co.'s parks-and-resorts division.
