Company names Kate Gebo vice president-Corporate Real Estate, Ajay Singh vice president-Business Management, Information Technology, and Praveen Sharma managing director-Mileage Plus Finance, Strategy and Information Technology

CHICAGO, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UAL Corporation (Nasdaq: UAUA), the holding company whose primary subsidiary is United Airlines, today named Kate Gebo vice president of Corporate Real Estate, succeeding Ajay Singh, who was named vice president of Business Management in Information Technology. Additionally, the company named Praveen Sharma managing director of Mileage Plus Finance, Strategy and Information Technology.
With United since 1998, Gebo previously was managing director of Procurement and has held several leadership positions in both corporate real estate and strategic sourcing. In her new role, she will oversee all planning, engineering and construction efforts for United's U.S. domestic and international airport and off-airport facilities. In addition, she also will manage lease and landing fee obligations for the company. She will report to Grace Puma, senior vice president of Strategic Sourcing.
Singh joined United in 1992 and has held numerous leadership positions in information technology, operations finance and the company's business transformation organization. In his new role, he will lead all aspects of financial planning, as well as compliance, vendor management, IT performance and multi-year plan portfolio management. He will report to Keith Halbert, Chief Information Officer. Singh succeeds Sharma, who previously served as managing director of IT Business Management.

Sharma joined United in 1999 and has held numerous roles in financial analysis and business management. In his new role, he will be part of the leadership in Mileage Plus, working to build the company's loyalty business and capabilities. He will report to Graham Atkinson, president of Mileage Plus.
