SAN DIEGO, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Diego chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI San Diego) will host a lively panel discussion on investor relations career transition and development on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. In today's economic climate, it is not uncommon for Investor Relations Officers - or those considering moving into or out of investor relations - to examine and polish their skills so they are prepared for planned or even unexpected career transitions. NIRI members, guests, and professionals from related fields like finance, accounting and communications are invited to join us as we host a panel of seasoned current and former IROs who have made the leap into related and non-related corporate and non-corporate roles.
The panelists will include: Julie Cunningham, former SVP of IR at Qualcomm, now chef/owner of Glass Mountain Inn in Napa Valley; Nadine Padilla, former VP of IR and Corporate Relations at Biosite, now owner of her own consultancy, Nadine Padilla, LLC.; Chris Schwartz, former director of IR at AMN Healthcare, now the Controller at AMN; Ingram Losner, Managing Partner & CFO with Proven, Inc. as the guest moderator and host.
A networking reception will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the discussion from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at AMN Healthcare, 12400 High Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA 92130. Admission is $45 for members and $60 for non-members if registration is received before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13.
