Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem Announces Opening of 'Burgers And More by Emeril' and New Branch of the Famed Carnegie Deli on November 22

BETHLEHEM, Pa., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem today announced plans to open two new restaurants - Burgers And More by Emeril, the first-ever burger restaurant by world-renowned Chef Emeril Lagasse, and a new branch of the famous New York City Carnegie Deli. Both restaurants will launch at the Sands Bethlehem property on November 22.

Burgers And More by Emeril - a play on Lagasse's signature expression, BAM! - joins Emeril's Chop House as the chef's second restaurant at the Sands Bethlehem. The menu will feature prime and grass-fed beef burgers, plus seafood, turkey and veggie selections - along with Emeril's distinctive twist on all-American favorites, fresh salads and cool desserts.

"I've dreamed of opening a burger restaurant for many years and I'm excited to finally serve up my favorites and some new combinations that you might not expect to see on a bun," said Emeril Lagasse. "This is a fun place where you can kick back, enjoy a great burger with a shake, a beer or a glass of wine."

In addition to a lineup of burger "standards," Emeril invites diners to create their own by selecting from an extensive list of fresh toppings and housemade sauces. The eatery will offer tableside service with Emeril's signature warm style of hospitality, a cocktail bar and specialty drink menu, bottled and tap beers, and wines by the bottle or glass.

The casual and modern setting, designed by the firm Floss Barber, Inc. of Philadelphia, will feature a warm palette with accents of wood and brick. Diners can catch their favorite game on several flat-panel televisions or take in the action of the chefs at work inside the open kitchen.

Carnegie Deli at Sands Bethlehem, which will be only one of three Carnegie Deli locations in the entire country, will duplicate the atmosphere of its New York City location, continuing the restaurant's tradition of donning pictures of visiting celebrities on the wall and featuring signature items from its classic menu, including its famous corned beef and pastrami, gargantuan sandwiches and cheesecake. The new property will seat approximately 150 guests, and will include a takeout area as well.
