The new location is the third Universal Mind office, and will be led by Chris Rogers. Mr Rogers recently joined Universal Mind as managing director to lead the new San Francisco office bringing a strong background in technology consulting within industry-defining practices from Accenture to Adobe.
Most recently, Mr Rogers spent six years with Adobe Systems where he was involved in the development of Adobe's consulting services practice.
Brett Cortese, president of Universal Mind, said: "Despite the economic downturn we have experienced strong demand for our custom web applications, and are excited to expand our presence in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley.
"We believe that our approach to user-experience driven design combined with our technical expertise and solid methodology are the reasons why we have been successful to date, and why we expect to continue that success as our company expands."
