The Brick Group announces changes to the Board of Trustees

EDMONTON, Nov. 4, 2009 /CNW/ -- Mr. Ron. D. Barbaro, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Brick Group Income Fund (TSX:BRK.UN) (the "Brick Group") announced today the appointment of Anthony Griffiths and John-Paul Geisbauer and the resignation of Ron Rogers, Louie Mele and Al Swyripa, as trustees of the Brick Group.

Mr. Griffiths has extensive experience as a senior executive in number of leading North American companies, including as President and CEO of Mitel Corporation. He is currently the Chairman of Russel Metals Inc. and Novadaq Technologies Inc. and is a Director of several other public companies, including Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.

Mr. Geisbauer has been the Controller of Brunton Management Company since July, 2008. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States of America and has an extensive public accounting background in both tax and audit.
