Bank of America Merrill Lynch announces new executive appointment

(Source: Datamonitor)trackingBank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Randall Lynch as managing director within Americas industrials investment banking business.

Mr Lynch is based in New York and reports to John Pratt, managing director and head of global diversified industries corporate and investment banking business.

Mr Lynch joins Bank of America Merrill Lynch from American International Group where he spent the last year leading the restructuring and divestiture process of several of the firm's business units. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley as a managing director providing strategic advisory services to and leading complex financing for corporations in the aerospace and defense sectors, and was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group at Lehman Brothers.

Mr Pratt said: "Randy's strong track record in mergers and acquisitions and expertise in industrials create the right mix of strengths to effectively serve the diverse and complex needs of our clients.
