1st Place Award Presented to CareerShift's Val Matta, EVP &Expert Job Seeker
Nov. 4, 2009 (Business Wire) -- At the CAREER EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT held at the Caribe Royale, CAREER DIRECTORS INTERNATIONAL (CDI) selects CareerShift.com as 1st place winner of their prestigious Career Innovator Award. The job seeker web service, CareerShift.com, is "the most innovative and effective of all the career industry nominees”, according to CDI. This award represents CDI’s desire to give career professionals a platform to demonstrate their expertise, innovation and commitment to the career services industry.
In its first year presenting this award, CDI decided to select from any submitted category, including career software, books, websites, job hunting tools, games, training programs, outreach programs, etc., and judged them all together to identify “the most innovative and valuable innovator to the careers industry.”
Val Matta, an Executive Vice President for the company accepted the award from Laura DeCarlo, CDI’s President & Executive Director.
