WOODBRIDGE, ON, Nov. 5 /CNW/ -- Organic Resource Management Inc. ("ORMI"), today announced that it will be an exhibitor at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair ("the Fair") in Toronto from November 6th to November 15th, 2009. ORMI will be located at Booth 5517, Hall B in the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place and will be stationed with "Farmz on Wheelz", an agricultural education project organized by the Ontario Farm Animal Council ("OFAC") and sponsored by ORMI.
Farmz on Wheelz is an interactive educational display developed by the Ontario Science Centre including a model of an anaerobic digester, demonstrating the technology employed by Ontario farmers to generate renewable energy from the organic residuals ORMI collects and processes from restaurants, grocery stores and other food service sector customers.
ORMI will be demonstrating the benefits of their Leftovers to Lights(R) program to both the food service sector and Ontario farmers contemplating investment in green energy. The recently passed Green Energy and Green Economy Act has set the stage for a renewable energy revolution in Ontario. ORMI is at the leading edge of this movement for biogas renewable energy generation.
The Fair is the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world that draws more than 300,000 visitors annually. The Fair is located at the Direct Energy Center at Exhibition Place, Toronto, Ontario, and will take place from Friday, November 6th to Sunday, November 15th, 2009.
