ManTech names EVP of business development

(Source: Datamonitor)trackingFederal services contractor ManTech International has appointed Sally Sullivan as executive vice president of business development for the company.

In her new role, Sullivan will lead the company's business growth supporting clients in the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community and throughout the federal government. She joined ManTech from Bechtel National, where she served as vice president for Defense, Space & Secured Infrastructure. Before joining Bechtel, she was the sector vice president for Business Development at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, she worked at ChoicePoint and EDS.

Lawrence B. Prior III, president and chief operating officer at ManTech, said: "Sally is a respected leader in our marketplace and her depth of experience and record of success will help ensure that our business development strategy aligns with our long-term growth plans while remaining focused on our customers' critical missions. Her enterprise-wide business development approach will magnify our recent wins in DHS and cyber, and she will enhance ManTech's market differentiators and expand our market presence."

Last month, ManTech reported a 23% increase in net income to $29.23m for the third quarter 2009, compared to a net income of $23.86m in the year-ago quarter. Revenue increased 6% to $514.63m. In September, it appointed L William Varner as president of its Mission, Cyber & Technology Solutions group and Terry Ryan as president of the Systems Engineering & Advanced Technology group.
