MillerCoors, a joint venture company of SABMiller and Molson Coors, has reported that net income attributable to the company was $229.7 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to $168.2 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2008.
Net sales for the third quarter of 2009 increased 3.1% to $2.01 billion, compared to $1.95 billion, for the corresponding quarter of 2008.
For the first nine months ended September 30, 2009, net income attributable to the company was $740.6 million, compared to $479.4 million, for the same period of 2008.
Net sales for the first nine months of 2009 were $5.86 billion, compared to $5.71 billion, for the first nine months of 2008.
