Media advisory - CN employees and hockey legends face off to raise funds for Charity

MONTREAL, Nov. 5 /CNW Telbec/ -- Assignment editors are asked to put this exciting, fund-raising event on their assignment calendar for Sunday, November 8. From 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the hockey legends will be "warming up" on the ice, and will available for interviews and photo opportunities. The CN Hockey Legends Challenge starts at 2:30 p.m. at 11212 Garon Street in Montreal North, at the Garon Arena.

Proceeds from the event will benefit charitable organizations supported by the CN Employee's and Pensioner's Community Fund: including, The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, The Marie-Vincent Foundation and the Ted Nolan Foundation. Approximately $250,000 has been raised to date.

Watch CN's own hockey team, coached by Ted Nolan, battle Richard Sévigny, Patrice Brisebois, Enrico Ciccone, André Dupont, Karl Dykhuis, Gaston Gingras, Larry Robinson, Gilbert Delorme, Normand Dupont, Guy Lafleur, Yvon Lambert, Sergio Momesso and Stephane Richer.

Reporters, photographers and cameramen are invited to catch all the action. Weekend assignment editors are asked to confirm their attendance with Patricia Sakal. Bryan Tucker, senior manager, Public Affairs and Media Relations, will be on site to accommodate your needs.
