US-based independent oil and natural gas company Petrohawk Energy has reported a net loss of $40.18 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2009, compared to a net income of $305.46 million, or $1.28 per diluted share, for the same period of 2008.
The company has reported total operating revenues of $237.94 million for the third quarter of 2009, compared to $304.96 million for the same quarter of 2008.
Petrohawk Energy has reported a net loss of $1.06 billion, or $3.88 per diluted share, for the first nine months of 2009, compared to a net income of $157.09 million, or $0.74 per diluted share, for the corresponding period of 2008.
Year-to-date total operating revenues were $728.69 million, compared to $824.53 million for the first nine months of 2008.
