The Opportunity Green experience is an immersion in eco-lifestyle products, habits and trends. From the organic meals to the materials used throughout, as well as the resource recovery efforts, the Opportunity Green “green team” will be working to ensure that nearly every facet of this year’s conference is a high quality and uncompromising immersion into a fun, eco-friendly experience. Every one of the more than 500 attendees will be outfitted with a KOR re-usable water bottle to be filled up at the various filtered EVERPURE water stations as well as To-Go Ware non-disposable bamboo utensils and a personal re-usable napkin called a PeopleTowel. Offsets are being provided by TerraPass. The goal behind providing these essential items is to showcase that it’s possible to significantly minimize waste, even at an industry conference.
