Nov. 7, 2009 (United Press International) -- Dan Ellis made 27 saves Saturday, backstopping the Nashville Predators' 3-1 road victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Cody Franson, Francis Bouillon (power play) and Joel Ward punched in goals for the Predators. Franson also notched an assist.

Dustin Brown scored for the Kings.

Jon Quick gave up all three Nashville goals on 25 shots.

Nashville has won four of its last five and stopped the Kings' two-game win streak.

The game was scoreless until 3:22 remained in the second period. That's when Bouillon scored on a blast from the point. Franson scored less than 5 minutes into the third for a 2-0 Nashville edge.

Brown's power-play goal at 8:25 came on a tip-in of Jarret Stoll's shot but Ward restored the two-goal margin 1:20 later.
