According to ANBA: Brazil needs to take advantage of the magic
moment that president Luiz In?cio Lula da Silva talked about in
order to consolidate the sustainable growth of its economy,
eliminating the bottlenecks that still hinder the country's growth,
and prepare the ground to arrive at 2016 with the world's fifth
highest Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This is the assessment of
businessmen, corporate managers and economists hear by ANBA,
regarding the president's address at the seminar Investing in
Brazil, promoted in London by newspapers Financial Times and Valor
Econ?mico. To the economist and professor at the Federal University
of the State f Paran?, Eug?nio Stefanello, the president is correct
when he says that the country is undergoing a "silent revolution,"
marked by the recovery of self esteem. "Brazil was the last country
to be affected by the economic crisis and the first to exit. This
was possible due to the country's economic indicators, to the
measures that the government adopted to counter the crisis, and to a
stronger domestic market as a consequence of the population's higher
population," said the economist.
