CHINA, Nov. 8, 2009 (Info-Prod Research) -- According to FDI: On November 4, Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Qishan met the delegation of board of directors from US-China Business Council in Ziguangge of Zhongnanhai. Wang Qishan said that the just ended 20th China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade had achieved great success. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the development of the bilateral relations and economic and trade cooperation during the 30 years was unimaginable. As the current global economic recovery still faced lots of uncertainties, the two sides should further strengthen communication and coordination, cooperating to deal with the international financial crisis, opposing the protectionism for trade and investment, and jointly promoting the building of active, cooperative and comprehensive China-US relations in the 21st century. Andrew Liveris, the president of US-China Business Council and board chairman of Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW) said the council would further commit itself to promoting the exchanges and cooperation in commercial world of China and the US, enhancing the mutual understanding and boosting the healthy development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
