Monday, November 09, 2009 4:15 AM

BEIJING, Nov. 9, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- Exchange bond indices hovered at high levels on Monday while T-bonds resurged and corporate bonds closed flat.

Statistics by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) show that the SSE Government Bond Index edged up 0.06 percent to 122.34 points on Monday, with turnover rallying mildly to 218.75 million yuan.

Both the SSE Corporate Bond Index and SSE Detachable Convertible Bond Index ended flat on Monday, at 132.34 points and 117.47 points, respectively. Corporate bond trading volume stood at 365.58 million yuan.

Despite bourse bond indexes had reacted ahead of the publish of October economic indicators which is predicted to be negative to China's bond market, the moderate turnovers reflected investors' wary sentiment which would continue to shadow the market in near term, said analysts.
