- Enter the ContiFanContest and Win one of 11 All-Inclusive Trips for two
to the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM)
Official Sponsor of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa(TM) kicks off an
international online consumer contest with attractive prizes.
Continental AG has launched its ContiFanContest on its football
platform http://www.ContiSoccerWorld.com, which is available in four
languages. In doing so, the Official Sponsor has invited all football fans on
their way to the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM) to take part in a video contest. The
online game 'FanGame' will also be coming soon. To qualify for the draw,
ContiFanContest participants must complete six of the eight tasks on offer.
The main prize for all qualifying participants is one of 11 sets of
three day all-inclusive trips for two to the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM) in South
Africa, including flights, hotel accommodation, a safari and tickets for a
match in Johannesburg. The ContiFanContest will close on 04 December 2009,
the date on which the groups will be drawn in South Africa for the 2010 FIFA
World Cup(TM).
Dirk Rockendorf, Head of eBusiness for passenger and light truck tires,
stated, "Football fans from around the world can use the VideoContest to show
us how they support and cheer on their (national) team. It's pretty easy to
take part: simply film a short video, upload it to YouTube and submit it to
our ContiSoccerWorld page. Other users can then view and rate the videos
either on ContiSoccerWorld itself or at
http://www.youtube.de/contisoccerworld."
The FanGame starting in November also involves cheering on your favourite
team. Participants have to press different key combinations shown in the game
instructions. The better the key combinations are hit, the better the
atmosphere in the stand and the more support there is for your team.
