InfoVista Q1 profit down

(Source: Datamonitor)trackingInfoVista, a proactive service assurance management software company, has reported a profit of E85,000, or E0.00 per diluted share, for the first quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to E508,000, or E0.03 per diluted share, in the first quarter of fiscal 2009.

For the first quarter of fiscal 2010, total revenues were E9.6 million, compared to E11 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2009. Gross profit was E7.3 million, compared to E8.6 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2009.

Philippe Ozanian, CEO of InfoVista, said: "In the past fiscal year, we have readied InfoVista for the end of the significant top- and bottom-line contributions made by a multi-year contract with Microsoft. Our performance this quarter, in the face of continued economic challenges, demonstrates the viability of our business model, on a normalized basis, our revenue base was roughly unchanged and we sharply reduced our operating costs. With a host of new solutions coming on stream, InfoVista is reinforcing its technical and market leadership."
