Nov. 9, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Zurich, a leading property and casualty insurer in North America, announced today it has appointed Patrick Lundy to Head of Energy for Zurich North America Commercial. Lundy will immediately assume responsibility for managing Zurich’s domestic energy business in North America, including collaborating with leaders of Zurich’s global energy business in North America to help mitigate the sophisticated risks facing Zurich’s energy customers.
Lundy joins Zurich from Travelers, where he held the position of Vice President of Field Management & Operations for its Oil and Gas division. Prior to his most recent role, Lundy served at AIG for seven years as Vice President of Divisional Corporate Account Segment Manager for its Global Marine & Energy Excess Casualty unit.
Lundy has held various underwriter positions in the insurance industry and started his insurance career as an underwriter at Zurich in Canada.
